Membership Information
Membership of Fleurieu Toastmasters is only $90 per year.
New members pay a once-off joining fee of $35.00.
In exchange for your joining fee you will receive a comprehensive New Member Kit from Toastmasters International crammed with useful information and speaking tips as well as your Competent Communicator workbook - your pathway for your first ten speeches. You will also receive a Fleurieu Toastmasters Club badge.

The right to participate in the Toastmasters personal development program.
This is the most important benefit of all. Toastmasters has spent over 85 years refining the learning journey. From your very first speech, each challenge is carefully designed to help you master specific aspects of public speaking.
Every speech that you give will be evaluated to provide feedback on what you did well and what you should work on next.
Monthly copy of the Toastmasters magazine
The worldwide Toastmasters journal. Every issue is full of great stories, tips and tools to help you to be a better communicator.
A mentor to guide you on your learning journey.
You will be assigned your own personal mentor who will help you to grow as you face each challenge in Toastmasters.
The right to compete in speaking, judging and evaluation contests.
There is nothing like competition to expand your horizons and push your limits. After winning at Club level you can go on to compete at Area, Division, District and even international levels.
The right to vote and stand for office at Toastmasters
Each Toastmasters Club is run by its members, represented by an Executive Committee. You have never served on a Committee as polished as Toastmasters. While learniing and practicing leadership skills as a Club Officer, you will also be comprehensively trained in your role. You will be given a manual with step by step guides for your specific responsibility. After serving in office at Toastmasters you
will be well-equipped to serve on other Committees in the future.
